technical DISCUSSION - How to make a world class LiFePO4 deep cycle battery
It starts with quality assurance in every component and every process in production.
To make a grade A prismatic cell there are many processes required in high quality controlled environments.
Anode Coating
Rolling
Slitting
Winding
Shell Entry / Spot Welding
Each prismatic cell is quality checked to make sure that they conform to grade A specifications
Welding is very high quality and precise. Unwelded joints can contract and expand over time and become loose, causing hotspots and failure.
Assembly is carried out in a closely monitored environment
Then the assembled battery is tested. When you look on your BMS app you will see that your battery has already been through 2 complete charge and discharge cycles. This is part of the testing process to make sure that everything works as expected.
Batteries are sealed our tough ABS casing and labelled, ready for boxing.
High quality packaging is used to ensure no damage during transport
